YOUR COMMUNITY. CLEAR POLICIES.
Terms & Conditions
Updated 14 October 2026 · Version 2026-10-12-v2
Clear rules for membership, merchant subscriptions, rewards, cancellation and refunds.
1. Who these terms cover
These terms govern use of Choplah by members and merchants. Choplah is operated by Bluepeak Consultant Sdn Bhd. Support: customersupport@choplah.com. Registered business address: pending confirmation. Review these terms before creating an account or purchasing a plan. The Privacy Policy explains personal data handling; the Web App Policy explains permitted use and cookies.
2. Accounts and eligibility
Members must be 18 or older. Merchants must have authority to represent their business and operate the programmes they publish. Provide accurate information, keep credentials private and notify support of suspected misuse. Each account may access only its authorised community or workspace. Google, email verification and passwords are sign-in methods, not guarantees of business identity or approval.
3. Member rewards
Membership is free. Each merchant sets its programme rules, eligibility, qualifying purchases, stock, expiry and redemption conditions and must show them before a member claims. Points, chops and rewards belong to the relevant programme; they are not cash, deposits, transferable currency or a guaranteed reward at every shop. Staff verification may be required. Signup points, birthday rewards, event rewards and passport bonuses apply only where configured and eligible. Duplicate, fabricated or refunded qualifying purchases may be reviewed and corrected with an explanation. Contact the merchant for goods, event fulfilment or reward issues, and Choplah for platform issues.
4. Merchant responsibilities
You are responsible for your published offers, reward availability, staff verification, customer purchases, event operation and any necessary permits. Explain programme changes before they affect members, honour valid rewards or offer a fair resolution, and do not misleadingly cancel accrued benefits. Collect and use customer information lawfully for disclosed purposes, restrict staff access, protect exports and respect withdrawal and deletion requests. Do not enrol people without permission, sell customer lists or treat membership as consent to unrelated marketing. Marketplace purchases currently require manual verification where supported; we do not promise automatic Shopee, Lazada or TikTok Shop connections.
5. Monthly subscriptions and usage charges
Current plans are Free (RM0), Kedai (RM79/month), Growth (RM199/month) and Brand/Mall (RM499/month), in Malaysian Ringgit. The plan, amount and billing interval shown at checkout control the order you authorise. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. While a paid plan is active, RM3 is charged once per member’s first staff-verified purchase at that merchant and added to the monthly invoice. Merely signing up or scanning a QR code does not trigger this charge; repeat purchases do not trigger another first-purchase fee. Free plans do not incur this paid-plan usage fee. Report incorrect verification or duplicate billing to support.
6. Extras, taxes and payment
Extras require a separate confirmed order; simply using the app does not authorise an extra charge. Published reference prices are boosts from RM20 and purchased bonus points RM10 per 1,000 points plus a 15% service fee (RM1.50), making RM11.50 total per 1,000 points. The confirmed Stripe payment credits a separate merchant points balance. Sending those purchased points to an authorised member of that shop deducts the merchant balance and credits the member without another service fee. Existing campaign rewards are separate. Points are loyalty credits, not cash, transferable funds or deposits. Test balances cannot be sent to live members. Refunds or disputes adjust the purchased balance proportionately; if previously distributed points leave a negative balance, further distribution is paused until the balance is restored or the issue is resolved. Any refund is reviewed under the cancellation and refund policy. No RM500 setup fee applies. Any applicable tax or additional charge must be disclosed at checkout or on the confirmed order; these terms do not assert a fixed SST rate or automatic tax collection. Stripe processes payments and may apply its own terms. Never send full card details to Choplah support. Service activation depends on confirmation of the payment/subscription, not solely returning to a success page.
7. Cancellation and refunds
Cancel through merchant Billing and the available Stripe billing portal, or contact support if you cannot access it. Cancellation stops future renewals after its confirmed effective date; the cancellation screen identifies that date and any remaining access. Usage already incurred or separately confirmed orders may still be payable. The new-merchant pilot reserves the first 20 accounts created after activation. Each receives a waiver of the RM3 first-purchase fee for three calendar months from its original signup timestamp, ending at the same Malaysia local time with month-end dates clamped where needed. Monthly subscriptions, Boosts and points purchases are not waived. Places are not recycled. New qualifying first purchases after expiry follow normal billing; purchases waived during the pilot are never billed retrospectively. Refund requests, including billing errors, are reviewed individually: email customersupport@choplah.com with the merchant, invoice and reason. There is no automatic prorated refund promise. Verified billing errors will be corrected and any refund due processed. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Service availability, changes and closure
Internet access and a supported browser are required. Features shown as planned, previews or examples are not a promise that they are available in your plan. We may maintain, repair or change the service and will communicate material changes affecting purchased services. Future price changes must be disclosed before they apply to a renewal or order. We may restrict misuse or compromised accounts and provide an explanation and review route where appropriate; urgent protection may require immediate action. Account deletion can remove rewards and records and is separate from subscription cancellation: cancel billing before requesting merchant closure.
9. Content, disputes and responsibility
You retain rights in your content and give us permission to process and display it to operate the service. Use only materials and personal information you may lawfully provide. Choplah’s branding and software remain the property of their respective owners. Merchants remain responsible for their goods, events and offers. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or earnings, but these terms do not exclude liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. First contact support with the facts and requested resolution. These terms are governed by Malaysian law, subject to any mandatory rights and lawful complaint or court routes available to you.
10. Updates and contact
Last updated 13 October 2026. We will identify revised terms by date and communicate material changes as appropriate; a change does not retrospectively authorise new charges or broader marketing consent.
